Winter weather system to bring heavy rainfall, strong winds - and maybe snow.

<p>Due to severe weather expected over the next two days, Israeli police announced planned road closures across southern Israel starting today and continuing through tomorrow.</p><p>The roads scheduled to be closed are Route 90, from the Dragot Junction to the Dead Sea hotel area; Route 234 at the Tze’elim Bridge; and Route 232 near Beit Shikma, adjacent to the Shikma Stream.</p><p>Police urged drivers to follow updates and avoid unnecessary travel in affected areas.</p>
