Border Police have foiled a stabbling attack in the region of the Old City of Jerusalem.Yesterday, police arrested a 15-year-old youth, a resident of Jabel Mukkaber, who had aroused suspicion and was spotted tossing away a bag containing a knife. In the course of his interrogation, the youth admitted that he had intended to commit a terrorist attack using the knife.Jerusalem Region police commander Doron Turgeman praised the Border Police for their actions, and stressed that, "We will continue to fight terrorism and foil attacks in order to guarantee the safety of Israeli citizens."
