Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Minister Benny Gantz gave a joint statement addressing the disaster in Gaza which killed 21 IDF reservists.

<p>An armed terrorist was eliminated by IDF reservists after he arrived on a scooter and opened fire on the soldiers who operating in a pillbox near the Einav Junction in Samaria. No injuries were reported.</p>

<p>Several rockets were fired a short while ago from Lebanon into Israel. A portion of them were successfully intercepted. Minor damage was caused to an IAF base by the bombardment. </p><p>No one was injured, and the incident is being investigated. </p><p>"Due to sound training and the operational preparedness of the forces, and the use of backup systems, there was no damage to the IAF's detection capabilities," the IDF stated. </p>

<p>MKs Efrat Rayten (Labor), Ram Ben-Barak (Yesh Atid), and Orit Farkash-Hacohen (National Unity) made a joint statement regarding the building collapse in Gaza. </p><p>"In light of the tragedy and the funerals of the fallen, the MKs have decided to push off the vote on the proposed law to disband extraneous ministries to tomorrow, Wednesday, so as not to create more political conflicts at this difficult time. The MKs call for all other Mks and the Speaker of the Knessetto to propose legislation only through consensus, and to enable us all to attend the funerals of the fallen." </p>

Military commentator, Yossi Yehoshua explains that aerial destruction is possible and is used in some locations, but it is not always complete. It is very expensive and takes resources from other places that need them.

A short time before the disaster which led to the deaths of 21 of its reservists, the 261st Brigade was filmed operating to dismantle terrorist infrastructure.

<p>A short time ago, IDF reservists from Battalion 9306 who were guarding roads near the village of Anbata in the Menashe regional brigade, identified a terrorist who was driving toward them and opened fire at them.</p><p>The soldiers eliminated the terrorists. The weapons that were in the terrorist's possession were confiscated. No Israeli forces were wounded.</p>
