<p>The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed on Friday morning that Master Sergeant (Res.) Valeri Chefonov, 33, from Netanya, a Vehicle Officer of the 9308 Battalion, 228th Alon Brigade, fell during combat in northern Israel.</p><p>Chefonov was critically injured by a UAV attack in the north and died of his wounds.
